I’m using Claude to help me figure out the game mechanics … “what makes a good clicker” and to build a skill that will help me write the prose and tell the game’s story. I loved Universal Paperclips so much, and wouldn’t at all presume to try to imitate it, but it was inspiring.
I’m still iterating through the mechanics pretty quickly, but I guess the underlying tone is sort of “Dungeon Keeper meets Barbara Ehrenreich’s Fear of Falling or Catherine Liu’s Virtue Hoarders.”
